The Brazilian club Porto Alegre is preparing a $7 million offer for Racing midfielder Juan Nardoni. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Gaúcho team has informed the directors of 'The Academy' that they are willing to pay $7 million, plus $2 million in objectives, for the 23-year-old player. Racing, in turn, values the 80% of the player's card, who arrived at the club in 2023 and has since played 75 matches and won three titles, at $10 million. 'The Academy' would not accept the terms in which Gremio intends to carry out the transaction, and both parties will continue to negotiate for the midfielder from the Santa Fe town of Nelson. Union de Santa Fe, Nardoni's formative club, which holds 30% of his card plus a 10% sell-on clause for a sale over 8 million euros, will be keeping a close eye on these negotiations. In parallel to Gremio's interest in Nardoni, another Brazilian football club, Botafogo, is targeting central defender Marco Di Césare. The player, who joined Racing in January 2024, is being closely followed by the Rio de Janeiro team, which would offer a loan with an obligation to buy for nearly $4 million. The Avellaneda club only owns 70% of the player's card, while the rest belongs to Argentinos Juniors.
